Anyone, wherever they live. .ng, .com.ng, .org.ng, .net.ng, .name.ng and .i.ng need no documents, just accurate contact details. Only .edu.ng and .sch.ng are reserved for accredited schools and ask for proof of eligibility.
Most domains are ready within minutes to a few hours of payment. .edu.ng and .sch.ng take longer while eligibility is checked. If a domain hasn't appeared in your dashboard within 24 hours, contact support with your payment reference.
By card, in Flutterwave's or Paystack's secure payment window, which opens at checkout. Your card details go to the payment processor, never to us.
It can. First-year prices, especially for .ng extensions, often include a discount, and renewals are charged at the extension's standard renewal price plus VAT. You see the renewal price before you buy, and we email you before every renewal, so it never catches you off guard.
Registrations, renewals and transfers can't be refunded once the registry has processed them, because the registry charges for the name straight away. Orders we can't complete are refunded, and duplicate charges are put right. Concierge and backorder fees aren't refundable, whatever the outcome.
Its website and email stop working, because its DNS stops answering. The registry holds an expired name for a limited time before releasing it to anyone, and how long and how much it costs to restore depend on the extension. Contact support straight away: the sooner you act, the better the chance of getting it back at the normal price.
Yes. Unlock it at your current registrar and get its auth (EPP) code, check it on our transfer page, then pay the transfer fee and send us the code. A transfer adds a year to your registration, and your website and email keep working throughout.
Try another extension or a variation: the .com.ng is often free when the .com isn't. Or let us go after it. Our concierge team can approach the owner for you, or a backorder tries to register the name the moment it's released. Neither is guaranteed.
Add the DNS records your web host or email provider gives you on the domain's DNS tab, or switch the domain to your provider's nameservers and manage the records there. Your domain works with any host or website builder.
Not with WHOIS privacy, which is free and on by default for every new registration. Public lookups then show a privacy service's details instead of your name, address, email and phone number. You're still the owner on record.
