Concierge and Backorder

When to use them

When the name you search for is Unavailable, someone already owns it. NG Domain offers two services to help you get it anyway:

Domain concierge Domain backorder
What we do Contact the current owner for you, negotiate, and report back Watch the name and try to register it the moment it is released
Best when The name is in use, or you want it soon The owner may let it expire
How long Until the owner answers or declines We watch the name for 12 months
Price A one-time outreach fee A one-time fee plus the first year's registration price
What the fee buys The outreach, not the domain. Any purchase price is agreed with the owner separately. The attempt. If we catch the name, it's registered to you for a year.

Both are one-time fees that don't renew, and neither is guaranteed.

Order from search

  1. Search for the name on Register a Domain.
  2. If it's Unavailable, the result shows Make an offer (concierge) and Backorder. Taken names in the Alternative domains table have the same buttons.
  3. Click one. It goes in your cart, and you're taken to checkout.

You need to be signed in to buy either service. A service can't share a cart with the same domain's registration.

Order from the Services page

  1. Open Concierge or Backorder from the dashboard sidebar, or Services to see both.
  2. Enter the full domain name, for example adas.ng.
  3. Click Make an offer or Backorder, then pay at checkout.

Read the terms on the page before you pay. They also appear at checkout:

  • Concierge: contact isn't guaranteed. The owner may not reply, may refuse to sell, or may ask well above your offer. The fee pays for the outreach and is non-refundable whatever the outcome.
  • Backorder: the owner may renew, or someone else may register the name first when it's released. If several people backorder the same name, the earliest order wins. The fee is non-refundable.

Track your requests

The Concierge and Backorder pages list every request you've paid for, with the domain, the date and its status:

Status What it means
Pending We've received your order and are working on it
Owner contacted We've reached the owner and are waiting for their answer (concierge)
Completed Done. For a backorder, the domain is registered to you and appears under My Domains. For a concierge request, we've sent you the owner's answer.
Unsuccessful The owner declined or didn't reply, or the name wasn't released, or someone else got it first
